This year’s Artists’ Open House sees over 250 South London-based artists throw open their doors to the public to offer their annual insight into the artistic process.
Showing at over 150 venues across Dulwich and surrounding areas the artists will welcome us into their homes and studios for a rare opportunity to view their work in a unique and intimate setting.
The Artists’ Open House is part of the Dulwich Festival and takes place over the weekends of 7th-8th May and 14th-15th May.
Artists This year’s artists will represent a huge range of styles and disciplines.

Group show – 125 COURT LANE 7EE SE21 An exciting group show hosted by Neil Ellis and showcasing the work of Brilliant Neon, Joyce Treasure, Lisa E Moss, Julie Bennett, Yuta Segawa and Chinoko Sakamoto.
Helen Ireland – 44 LANDELLS ROAD SE22 9PQ Helen Ireland is a painter working in East Dulwich. She studied fine art at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea School of Art. Her paintings are collages combining printing, drawing and layers of paper. www.helenireland.net
Andrew Carter – 44 LANDELLS ROAD SE22 9PQ Andrew studied fine art painting at Central St Martins and MA Printmaking at Camberwell College of Art. Andrew states: “In my work I combine elements of observation, abstraction and design. Annette Hamley Jenkins – 20 TARBERT ROAD SE22 8TH A selection of atmospheric landscape paintings, drawings and prints from Wilderness Festival artist Annette, who was selected to exhibit at the Lynn Painter-Stainer prize exhibition earlier this year.

She looks for bones, plants, insects and animals that can be found in our London environment. Martin Grover – ACME STUDIOS CARLEW HOUSE 21 EAST PLACE SE27 9JW Accomplished painter, illustrator, screen-printer and maker of bespoke bus stops, Martin is influenced by English Romanticism, American Realism and Pop Art. Carys Davies – PARADE MEWS STUDIOS PARADE MEWS SE27 9AX Cards makes bowls, jugs, plates and beakers on the wheel in porcelain.Glazed with rough organic glazes outside, some have fragments of poetry incised on them. They are both decorative and functional. www.carysdavies.com
