Start the trail at the Festival Pop Up shop for a wonderful selection of fine art, ceramics, jewellery and prints, remembering to inspect the superb flower installation by Wildside London (1). Then, head towards Croxted Road to explore Octavia Madden’s expressionist and abstract depictions of landscapes and cityscapes (2). Just one road along, you will find Diane Eagles at All Saints Church, with a fascinating collection of photographs and ceramics from The Ness of Brodgar Archeological dig in Orkney (3). Whilst you’re there, put your own crafting skills to the test, by making a mini neolithic pot! Uncover the epic and spellbinding collaborative paintings of Mary Rodriguez and Andrew Hinton on Carson Road (4) before heading to The Tollgate Collective on Tollgate Drive (5). Here, you will find a stunning selection of screen prints, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and even skincare from six participating artists. Then, make your way back towards the Village onto Gallery Road, to view a fantastic range of mediums including photography, landscapes, furniture, watercolours and textiles, at the Old College Lawn Tennis Club (6). Cut through Lovers Walk to access the historic Bell House (7), where you’ll unearth a diverse range of contemporary functional, decorative and sculptural ceramics.
If you’re taking part in this trail on Sunday 12th May, don’t forget to pop into the Dulwich Park Fair at 12-5pm for live performances and a variety of food, drink, craft and charity stalls! For those heading out over the 18th/19th May, remember to factor the Dulwich Picture Gallery into your day, as AOH visitors are invited to explore the gallery’s main collection for free at 10am to 5pm.

Start the trail at St Barnabas Close, where you’ll uncover the fantastic talent of Alexander Khokhlov, who combines photography with artistic make up to create internationally renowned artworks (1). Then, head towards Playfield Crescent to unearth beautiful photographic studies of garden plants by Kevin Dutton (2). Take a five-minute walk to Heber Road to explore Carina Norman’s decorative and functional contemporary ceramics (3), before heading to Fellbrigg Road to visit abstract painter and AOH catalogue cover artist Jess Blandford (4). Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at the contemporary jewellery studio of Graeme McColm and Isabelle Capitain on Upland Road (5), and of fabulous fine art by Mia Cavaliero and Diana Velada (6), who are towards the top end of the same road. Just a hop, skip and a jump away, on Friern Road, you’ll find illustrations by Rosa & Clara Designs (7) and can explore the wonderful and renowned garden of Richard Watts, amongst other artists (8). The hill climb to Overhill Road to see blown glass vessels, sculpture and turned wood by Bruce Marks is absolutely worth it (9)!
If you’re taking part in this trail on Saturday 11th May, why not marry up your day with an architectural Concrete & Clay walk, exploring Belvoir Road and Dawson’s Heights? For those heading out on Sunday 19th May, finish your walk at Goose Green Fair, with food, craft and charity stalls on offer, as well as performances and family activities!
