
History, Ecology & Management of Dulwich Woods – Walk
Sydenham Hill Wood is a unique mix of new and ancient woodland with remnants of Victorian gardens. The Wood has a fascinating history and forms part of the largest remaining tract of the old Great North Wood. The walk will explore the history of the Wood and how and why it is managed today. It’s also a chance to learn about some of the more than 200 species of trees and plants as well as fungi, insects, birds and woodland mammals.
