The Arts Society Dulwich presents: Off the Record – Album Cover Art 1950–2000
Some of the most iconic images of the 20th century were created for record sleeves. Local lecturer Rupert Dickens will explore the art of album covers and reveal the close connections between visual and musical creativity in the vibrant period of popular culture between 1950-2000. Album covers have been adorned by Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, Salvador Dali, Richard Hamilton and a host of other artists and designers.
