Kat Hassan, Paul Catherall & Artichoke Print Workshop
We are delighted to present a collaboration between Dulwich Prep & Senior’s Art Department and Artichoke Print Workshop. The exhibition will feature a selection of works by Kat Hassan, Paul Catherall and other artists associated with Artichoke, alongside printed artworks created by pupils.
Pupils have worked closely with Artichoke artists, exploring printing methods such as monotype, linocut, and woodcut. They have also participated in focused workshops led by Kat Hassan and Jake Garfield.
Artichoke Print Workshop
Founded in 1992, Artichoke Print Workshop remains a vital resource for printmakers in London. Located in the heart of Brixton, the studio is home to a team of highly sought-after professional printers.
Kat Hassan
Kat is an artist based in south-east London. Her work is process-driven, exploring experimental image-making, with drawing and collage as foundational elements. This instinctive approach draws on themes that resonate with joie de vivre, beauty, and nostalgia. Her practice is rooted in the dynamic energy of everyday life, where playful mark-making meets thoughtful reflection.
Paul
Paul’s work explores the bold geometry and enduring presence of the built environment through linocut. He utilises clean, sharp lines and vivid colour to represent architectural landmarks, capturing their distinctive character with graphic clarity. His commissions include the Royal Shakespeare Company, Penguin Books and the Southbank Centre. He has been one of London Transport’s most popular and prolific poster artists of the 21st Century.
