A vibrant local artists’ fair bringing together talented artisans working across a wide range of materials, showcasing handmade pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, creativity, and the diversity of the local creative community. Artists will be exhibiting in the Picturehouse entrance and the Library Community Room near cinema screen one, be sure to explore!

Rebecca Vincent

Matthew and Rebecca’s Studio (MARS) create bold graphic artwork applied to a variety of stationery and other homewares, as well as a range of striking functional objects for the home, using recycled and eco conscious materials. MARS also stands for Make, Adapt and Recycle and this philosophy permeates all that we create.

Fiona Florence Ceramics

Hand- built, functional ceramics. Each piece is an exploration of organic silhouettes, naturally found textures and colours from the earth.

Helen Blair Ceramics

Helen creates beautiful stoneware pieces using her background as a graphic designer to inform her unique glazing and mark making.

Sandy Even

Sandy creates hand-built stoneware vessels and sculptures inspired by nature and sea movement, finished with pastel glazes, oxides and pencil details.

“Anart is Scottish Gaelic for cloth, Cuirm is Scottish Gaelic for feast.” anart.cuirm printed table linens, tea towels and cushions are rooted in the exploration of art, pattern, and colour – in an assortment of unruly designs for a bold and expressive tabletop.

Laura Cronin

Laura is showcasing her needle-felted sculptures, from urban wildlife dioramas and recycled-plastic foxes to pet portraits and a miniature bust of David Attenborough!

Nancy Adjei

Nancy uses paper she has painted, printed and often recycled to make collages of local views, flowers from her garden and more.

Beho Studio

Beho Studio creates minimalist jewellery using recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones.

HappyLittleArtByCeri

Ceri Stanaway’s mixed media ‘Happy Little Art’ is inspired by nature, her travels and her home town of Crystal Palace. Her original art, prints and art-based gifts and cards are designed to bring a bit of brightness to your day.

Caitlin Hazell

Metal by Chaz is a project by Caitlin Hazell, making historical, folklore and everyday inspired artefacts, souvenirs and relics. These individual works are hand carved in wax and cast in bronze or recycled silver, following ancient lost wax, cuttlefish or sand casting methods.

C.W. Ceramics

Caroline is ceramic artist with a background in graphic design. Using stoneware clay ribbons her quirky decorative silhouette sculptures bring cheer to any home.

Julia Apter

Julia Apter creates jewellery that is made to be noticed, using intricate weaving techniques, neon beads, playful glass charms and bright gemstones. Come to the Charm Bar to create your own unique design.

Noriko Nagaoka Ceramics

Noriko creates nature-inspired stoneware tableware using layered glazes and gravity, making unique pieces influenced by Shoji Hamada.
