Porous Light Salon
Porous Light Salon is a group exhibition of seven fine art photographic artists curated by artist Wendy Hardie. This unique and editioned analogue photography show explores environmental and societal themes through process and narrative. The artists use a mixture of handcrafted, alternative, sustainable and historic photographic processes such as cyanotype, pinhole, wet plate collodion, and hand-painted, homemade plant-based toners, developers, and emulsions. The show, with prints on paper, textiles, or set within sculptural forms, will take place over two floors in Hardie’s home, a light, plant-filled mid-century townhouse with a rare folded frontage designed by celebrated architect Vernon Russell for the tree-filled Dulwich Estate.
